President Trump sat down at a round table with Reps Zeldin and King of Long Island to discuss MS-13. Accordingly, Chief of Staff General Kelly was also there. In addition, over a dozen other law enforcement representatives, including DOJ, as well as Kirstjen Nielsen, DHS Secretary were all present.
Kristjen began the meeting by thanking the POTUS for joining them. Then Kristjen introduced all the hard working men and women of law enforcement. The American law enforcement who work tirelessly to help secure our borders and keep us safe. She pays special attention to the gang activity across our Nation by gang members of MS-13.
Kristjen makes the most STUNNING statement about what the DHS is up against. Look what President Trump has asked Congress to change to help destroy MS-13:
“[There are] three main loopholes. The first is, we have an ‘inadmissibility’ problem. Meaning that, when they come to our border. I have to let them in. I cannot keep them out for virtue of being in a gang. Once we catch them, and detain them. I cannot remove them, for virtue of them being in a gang.”
President Trump takes a moment to clarify, “By the way, these things are unique to our County. No other Country has this. This is unique to our Country. And it’s going to change.”
Kristjen then continues, “So the framework that you have proposed will close these. And so, I remain hopeful to work with congress on your behalf and on the administration’s behalf to close these loopholes. And other loopholes to secure our borders and our Country.

It’s clear, the past administration had a silent war with the FBI and DOJ and DHS. Their hands were tied. But no longer. These are comments that Zeldin and King made. The two congressmen in the round table meeting this morning. The two congressmen who will help pass the legislation that will allow law enforcement to disallow an MS-13 member to come into America. And allow them to send them back to their home Country if they are detained and known to be MS-13.
Newsday reported: Zeldin (R-Shirley) said there were “so many different aspects of combating gang activity” tied to immigration enforcement that he hopes to discuss with the president.
“There’s so many aspects to gang activity that goes beyond the most high profile of cases…there’s the many horrible crimes that take place where people don’t lose their lives…the human trafficking, sex trafficking, drug trafficking aspects…there will be plenty to discuss,”
“I think the President wants to emphasize the importance of this issue,” King said in a phone interview. “You would be surprised or disappointed, about what a small number of people in Congress are aware of MS-13 . . . unless it happens to be in your district like Long Island, parts of Virginia, this is not that big an issue, and I give the President credit for focusing attention on this issue, and I think that’s part of it today, public education more than anything else.”
