There aren’t too many celebrities, both modern and old school, who have nice things to say about President Trump and his agenda and oppose Democrat policy. However, what comedian/actor Bill Murray recently came out of the woodwork and said will draw ire from his colleagues in the acting and entertainment industry.

Bill Murray sat down with CNBC’s Squawk Box and, sure enough, openly praised Trump’s tax cut and blasted Democrats over their divisive tactics, which he believes are making America WORSE! (VIDEO BELOW)

Murray discussed that Democrats targeting minorities and refugees sends a signal to majority of Americans, saying they only have a small percentage of people in their interests…not ALL Americans.

As transcribed from Daily Mail and can be seen in the video below, Murray said:

“The way the Democrats handle things is poor, where they try to pick out little pieces of a population, oh well… we represent the LGBT or something. Instead of thinking that each citizen has a right to be respected as a citizen first, under the laws of the country.”

“There’s almost a resentment that somehow you’re separated, again, by a politician — ‘You’re my people. I’m in control of you, I represent you,’ instead of thinking that each citizen has a right to be respected as a citizen first, under the laws of the country. And they’re not speaking to everyone at once. And it’s almost demeaning to say, ‘I’m choosing you because you’re a splinter group or you’re a certain minority group.'”(VIDEO BELOW)

Murray labels the political discourse you see occurring every day as “Clash of Clans.” And says, “People are going to war over so much.” On the other side of the token, he praised Republicans over their tax cuts when he said:

“The change in the tax law is a great thing for the corporations, it’s a fantastic thing…I don’t pretend to understand what that will mean in the future in terms of the economy or what the budget will have to do to take care of what people call entitlements.”

“In the first step, it’s made things easier. I think people feel like there was probably too much regulation, and yet you just hope that they don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater when breaking down regulations.”(VIDEO BELOW)

Murray then briefly touched on mixing politics and comedy, which has often been seen since Trump won the election. He thinks that comedians and celebrities alike should veer away from political remarks while trying to entertain the masses. Murray said:

“How can Kristen Wiig make everyone laugh? She’s not thinking about being political, she’s thinking about what resonates and what is common to all of us.”

“I think that’s harder and harder to do because people are trying to win their point of view as opposed to saying, ‘What if I had spoke to everyone?” (Video Below)
