The media is hammering Melania for being missing in the public, saying she’s been absent from the public eye for 22 days now.
The First Lady responded by saying she is “working overtime” and is “at the White House with my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!”
She tweeted Wednesday putting her critics to shame.
I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing. Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!

Four days after the return of the American prisoners, the White House announced that the first lady had successfully undergone an “embolization” procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. There had been no complications and she is expected to make a full recovery. She spent five nights at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
President Trump said Thursday that his wife is “in great shape” after her surgical procedure.
The president assured reporters that his wife was doing fine. When asked about the first lady’s health before he boarded the presidential helicopter on the South Lawn, Trump pointed to the second floor of the White House and said: “She’s doing great. Right there. She’s doing great. She’s looking at us, right there.”
President Trump left for Camp David shortly after announcing the North Korean Summit will still take place June 12th in Singapore. North Korean official Kim Yong Chol visited the White House Friday to deliver a letter of confirmation by Kim Jon Un.
And just like that, the President and First Lady silenced their critics.
