Speculation has it that ABC is reportedly going to focus on ‘Sara Gilbert’ instead of ‘Roseanne’ Barr. ABC is in the works to possibly “re-brand” the show and revolve it on Gilbert’s character, Darlene Conner.
Gilbert has been in contact with the “Roseanne” cast members to see how much interest they have if the network moves forward with a ‘green-light.’
John Goodman, who plays Roseanne’s husband and Gilbert’s father on the show, has reportedly confirmed that he is also ‘very interested.’
Tom Werner, who produced “Roseanne” through his company Carsey-Werner, is involved in the effort to reboot the show around Sara Gilbert.
ABC may be trying to salvage the jobs of those who were affected by its swift decision to cancel the show earlier this week.
If the network moves forward, this will leave Roseanne behind, ultimately paying a big price for expressing her opinions about the Obama administration. (Read more below)
What people don’t know… is that Gilbert is not backing Roseanne and seems to be a leftist.
Is this why ABC is giving her a shot? Are they rewarding Gilbert for being on the left?
Gilbert tweets: (See Below)
Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least.

This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love— one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member.

LET US KNOW IF YOU THINK THE SHOW SHOULD MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT ROSEANNE IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.
