The highly anticipated Inspector General’s report was released on Thursday from Michael Horowitz.
The review has been going on for over a year on the FBI and DOJ’s Hillary Clinton investigation.
Here are the three biggest takeaway’s from the IG report:
- FBI agent Peter Strzok texted Lisa Page in August 2016 that “we’ll stop” Donald Trump from becoming President.
Lisa Page texted Peter Strzok “Trump’s not ever going to become President right? Right?!” “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it,” Strozk replied.
However, the report said investigators found “no evidence” of political bias.
- The report calls former FBI Director James Comey’s actions “extraordinary and insubordinate.

Comey took to Twitter to respond after the IG report was released.
Comey tweeted, “I respect the DOJ IG office, which is why I urged them to do this review. The conclusions are reasonable, even though I disagree with some. People of good faith can see an unprecedented situation differently. I pray no Director faces it again. Thanks to IG’s people for hard work.”

- Inspector General Michael Horowitz slammed former AG Loretta Lynch
The report critiques her tarmac meeting in AZ with Bill Clinton. They engaged in “inappropriate discussion.”
Michael Horowitz said in his report, “We also found that Lynch’s failure to recognize the appearance problem created by former President Clinton’s visit and to take action to cut the visit short was an error in judgment.”

In addition, this was also uncovered from an FBI employee:
“Trump’s supporters are all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS that think he will magically grant them jobs for doing nothing. They probably didn’t watch the debates, aren’t fully educated on his policies and are stupidly wrapped up in his unmerited enthusiasm.”
