Meadows Charges Paul Ryan On House Floor, What Happens Next Has Ryan Running To Rhinoville

Screen Shot, The Onion, US4Trump Compilation

House Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, Mark Meadows (NC-R) had it out with Paul Ryan on the floor today! Some serious fireworks were going off!

Apparently, there was confusion over the three immigration bills that would be voted on and what they each contained. (Videos Below)

Meadows squared off with Ryan which lasted less than a minute on the House floor. And culminated with Meadows in Ryan’s face saying, “It doesn’t matter anymore!”

Politico’s co-author Jake Sherman was in the House and tweeted a ten tweet blow by blow of the show down. See word for word below!

Jeremy Art of C-Span caught the spat on camera. It is in two parts. Please look in “NV” column area for Ryan and Meadows going head to head.

In a series of 10 tweets, Jake Sherman with Politco offered his perspective from the House floor as it was unfolding. In his tweets he says:

Mark Meadows and Paul Ryan are in a very heated discussion in the middle of the house floor. Meadows is furious. Just walked over to his members — the freedom caucus — and signaled that he was done. I’m not sure what they’re pissed about — ask — but I would expect fireworks tomorrow.

Now Meadows and Goodlatte are chatting. Meadows seems furious. He’s coming back to talk to Ryan with some people in tow. Allegedly conservatives believe the wrong version of goodlatte’s bill is being brought up. Meadows now having his hand toward Paul Ryan, angrily talking to his chief of staff Jonathan burka “I don’t care anymore,” Meadows tells Ryan.

Curbelo standing by. Meadows tells curbelo: “I’ll sign the dang discharge petition. I don’t care anymore.” Meadows and Ryan in each other’s faces. “It doesn’t matter anymore,” Meadows tells Ryan. Wow. Meadows — glasses perched on his nose — is furious.

Talking to his allies Jordan and Hice. The dynamic unusually is the freedom caucus feels like they’ve been misled, leadership believes they’ve misled them. And we go round and round And the House is ungovernable. Based on what I just saw, I don’t believe the house will pass the immigration bills tomorrow.

Meadows just told us the compromise bill “is not ready for prime time.” Said there were things that were supposed to be in it that are not. I predict the gop leadership will have a different point of view. Vote tomorrow…in theory.
