President Donald J. Trump took to Twitter Monday afternoon trolling Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in a savage tweet.
The Commander in Chief isn’t sitting back hiding in the corner, instead, he is fighting back exposing the truth.
Amid the partial government shutdown, and Democrats refusing to budge on funding for a wall, President Trump called out Nancy Pelosi and exposed her hypocrisy for saying that “walls are immoral.”
This comes after she rejected Trump’s offer to secure the border and end the government shutdown.
President Trump wrote on Twitter Monday afternoon, “If Nancy Pelosi thinks that Walls are “immoral,” why isn’t she requesting that we take down all of the existing Walls between the U.S. and Mexico, even the new ones just built in San Diego at their very strong urging. Let millions of unchecked “strangers” just flow into the U.S.” (Continued Below)
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that border walls are “immoral” at the beginning of the year, further adding she would only give $1 toward the wall.
She has repeatedly since referred to the implementation of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border as “immoral” or “an immorality.”
During a town hall event on MSNBC, she added that the idea of a wall would instill fear among U.S. citizens. (Continued Below)
On Saturday, President Trump addressed the nation and outlined his plan to address border security concerns and put an end to the partial government shutdown. The plan includes the temporary extension of legal protections for DACA recipients and funding for the wall.
He introduced the main points of his proposed plan and said, “This is a common-sense compromise that both parties should embrace.”
- $800 million in urgent humanitarian assistance
- $805 million in new drug detection technology
- 2750 new border agents and law enforcement professionals
- 75 new immigration judge teams
- $5.7 billion for “strategic deployment of physical barriers” (a wall)
- 3 years of legal relief and protection from deportation for DACA recipients
- 3-year extension of protections for immigrants under Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
President Trump also announced that he expected his proposed plan to be taken up in the Senate by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell quickly.
The Commander in Chief concluded in his speech, “Whatever we do, I can promise you this, I will never forget that my first duty and ultimate loyalty is to you, the American people. Any reforms we make to our immigration system will be designed to improve your lives, make your community safer, and make our nation more prosperous and secure for generations to come.”
On Sunday, Trump doubled down and exposed her true colors when he said, “Nancy Pelosi has behaved so irrationally & has gone so far to the left that she has now officially become a Radical Democrat. She is so petrified of the “lefties” in her party that she has lost control…And by the way, clean up the streets in San Francisco, they are disgusting!”
