President Trump took to Twitter Tuesday where he reacted with “disappointment” from Hillary Clinton’s news that she will not be seeking a presidential bid in 2020.
Clinton announced Monday that she is not running for president in the Democratic primary after many wondered if she would take a shot at a third presidential run. Trump broke his silence about the news using his favorite nickname for her, “Crooked Hillary.” (Video Below)
Hillary Clinton announced Monday that she will not run for the Democratic nomination again in 2020. “I’m not running, but I’m going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe,” Clinton said, according to News 12.
“I want to be sure that people understand I’m going to keep speaking out,” she continued.
“I’m not going anywhere. What’s at stake in our country, the kind of things that are happening right now are deeply troubling to me.” She said.
“And I’m also thinking hard about how do we start talking and listening to each other again? We’ve just gotten so polarized. We’ve gotten into really opposing camps unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my adult life.” She added. (Video Below)
President Trump has repeatedly mocked Hillary Clinton for her loss against him in 2016 and has attempted to taunt her into joining the 2020 race.
He wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, “(Crooked) Hillary Clinton confirms she will not run in 2020, rules out a third bid for White House.”
He hilarious added, “Aw-shucks, does that mean I won’t get to run against her again? She will be sorely missed!” (Video Below)
