Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, joined host Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox News’ “Justice With Jeanine” Saturday night where she weighed in on Democrats’ reaction to the Mueller report and what’s to come.
Attorney General William Barr announced during a press conference on Thursday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation did not find that members of the Trump campaign conspired, coordinated, or colluded with Russians during the 2016 presidential election, and ultimately releasing the redacted report.
Kellyanne said the Mueller report failed to prove or conclude that the President has committed a crime.
“As the campaign manager at the end part of the campaign, it is a relief, but it is also a terrible disappointment and a true miscarriage of justice for people to be running around and pretending that any of us would have done that– would have willingly conspired with a foreign agent. In this case, Russia, to try to publish damaging information on the woman who lost, who shouldn’t have, by try[ing] to cut corners, cheat, lie or steal our way to a Democratically elected president.” Kellyanne began.
She noted Democrats tried to put an asterisk next to President Trump’s name, but the door is closed on all of that now. Instead, they are going after Attorney General Barr, speciously and viciously because he could not conclude that the President did anything to obstruct justice.
“That’s key because that’s why they’re attacking him. If you don’t like the message, you attack the messenger.” Kellyanne said. “This is a just result– it’s just that those haters and critics don’t like the result.” (Continued Below)
Judge Jeanine pointed out that there’s obstruction, but no underlining crime. “Assuming that there’s obstruction, but there isn’t obstruction, because they don’t have the requisite intent. It’s so amazing when Hillary Clinton had the intent and they said she didn’t have the intent. Everything is backwards.” Jeanine expressed.
She went on to say that reference President Trump when he declared that no President should have to go through what he has.
“No other [President] could have gone through or face the incoming like he did every day and then deliver for us and watch the people around him pretty much collapse in terms of their ability to respond to what was going on,” Jeanine proclaimed. (Continued Below)
Kellyanne projects the “real rebuttal” will be Donald Trump’s reelection.
“Democrats in the media have wasted so much time thinking this was the way to get him out of office and really diminish him to the American people, and it’s had the opposite effect.” Kellyanne declared.
She explained that the media’s poll numbers are down as a result. “They know there’s not a public appetite for more of [impeachment talk], but there is a public appetite for how all of this started in the first place. Investigating the investigators.”
“People want to know why the fix was in from the beginning and why people were trying to undo Donald Trumps’ surprise election result, beginning practically the day he was elected — why the Obama administration ignored the briefings they received about Russian interference into our elections about its attempts.” She said.
“They didn’t think he would win, they thought she would win, so nobody bothered to lift a finger. They never took it seriously, so we are taking it seriously.” The president’s counselor warned. (Video Below)
Kellyanne also pointed out that President Trump has never uttered the words “this is the end of my candidacy, this is the end of my presidency,” as was stated in the Mueller report.
She stated, “That is not the way he speaks. He has weathered some pretty impossible situations that would’ve broken another man, or another woman perhaps, and all the while giving us the best economy that anyone has ever seen in this country or truly known. All of that under this ridiculous, unfair cloud. (Video Below)
“Image what he’ll be able to do now that it’s over,” Kellyanne concluded.
